Good 4th July to my American readers!

So yesterday it was the American Independence day. Inlining in the morning and then a party with my host family at their friends house. It was really a lot of fun with food and meeting new people. The biggest thrills for the day were the fireworks at the end of the night when the sun was down and tubing with a rubber ring behind a motor boat. The fireworks took about 40 minutes so there was plenty of banging and lights! Tubing was fun and taking few pretty good flights at least one feet up in the air was fun, but I can definitely feel it today. And here is a picture of me just before falling down after landing that. Loads of fun!

Then today we drove to Kenosha to do some track cycling. First time for this summer I admit that I really missed the feeling of just being able to throw yourself around the turns. Just easy training today because there is still lots to do during the weekend. Only one day of rest for this week so heading to be really tired by the end of the next two weeks. Calculated my training hours today and seeing that I am ahead of last year by 40 hours with all the increased intensity it gives me faith to keep on pushing good until the season begins.

Catch you tomorrow with speedskater tricks number 3.
