Another thing that I wanted to note for all the young athletes reading this blog. NEVER START TRAINING LIKE I DO RIGHT NOW. Not until you're over twenty at least. I'm taking the challenge and going for that fine line between major improvement and getting burned out really badly. Always listen to your body and how it speaks to you. Also train as hard as you can each time but if you start having problems sleeping, start feeling like you just finished a jog when you wake up in the morning or get nauseous because you know you trained too much last night - take a rest. It's not healthy or the right way to go until you've really built a solid base. I worked for that base systematically for over ten years. So as that one joke goes: "Trust me I'm an engineer, I know what I'm doing"
And this moment right here where I'm writing the blog makes everything worth it. At the skatepark, sun is just setting creating a beautiful connection with the life of sports and the nature, my favorite music in my ear, warm wind. Life is all about finding that relaxed connection with the world and yourself. Here I am, alone and together with the whole world at the same time. Have an awesome next week everyone!!
